How to get to Morukuru by self-drive, chauffeur or plane

Madikwe Reserve in which Morukuru is situated is approximately 360 km from Johannesburg and Pretoria a 3.5 4 hours drive. Guests taking the self-drive option should also inform Morukuru staff of their impending arrival at Madikwe Reserve gate, at which point a ranger will drive through, meet and personally escort them to Morukuru Lodge.

NB It is also imperative to note that there are no petrol stations within Madikwe, so the Sun City Village is the last petrol stop available before entering the reserve.

Chaffeur-Drive Should guests prefer, a chauffeur driving service to and from Madikwe Reserve and Morukuru Lodge is available upon request and at additional charge.

Air Transfer Should guests prefer, a scheduled flight service or private charter to and from Madikwe Game Reserve and Morukuru Lodge is available upon request, and at additional charge.
